Order Center Workflow

  1. New: Review and accept the order

  2. Active: Gather the items and make any necessary changes

  3. Ready for pickup: Mark the order ready

  4. Completed: The finished order is stored here

Accept a new order

  1. Open Order Center.

  2. Select the New tab.

  3. Select the order.

  4. Review the customer information, order notes, and items.

  5. Select Accept to begin preparing the order.

  6. The order moves to the Active tab.

If you don't see a new order you're looking for, click Reload to refresh the Order Center

Prepare the order in the Active tab

Every item will need to be scanned/manually verified, replaced with a substitution, or removed from the order

  • Substitute: Scan a substitute item, or ask Uber Eats for a suitable substitution.

  • Adjust quantity: Change the quantity of that item for the order.

  • Remove: Remove that item from the order.

Once everything is ready, select Ready for pickup

Wait for the order to be picked up

Once the customer's order has been picked up, selecting the Finalize button will move that order to the Completed Tab

New Tab

  • Customer's name/phone number/order ID/time that the order was placed

  • Notes about the order will show

  • Each item in the order will appear

The cashier can select Accept or Deny

  • If they select Accept, the order will move to the Active Tab

  • If they select Deny, the order will be canceled

Active Tab

  • Item Options (click an item to see these):

    • Substitute: allows you to scan a substitute item, as long as it's available, or you can ask Uber Eats for a suitable substitution

    • Adjust Quantity: change the quantity of that item for this order

    • Remove: remove that item from this order

  • Scan Item: Each item in an order has to be scanned to confirm it's a part of the order

    • Once all of the items in the order have been scanned, the Ready For Pickup button can be selected

  • Clicking the "plus" icon in the bottom right pulls up two options:

    • Reprint - prints a receipt for the order

    • Send Message - allows the cashier to send a message to the customer about the order

Ready to Pickup Tab / Completed Tab

  • The order will move to this tab once the cashier selects the Ready For Pickup button on the Active tab

  • Once the customer's order has been picked up, the cashier will click the Finalize button

    • That will move the order to the Completed tab
